He has been in the Hindi cinema (Bollywood) industry for four decades and as of 2020, he has appeared in over 220 films in 13 languages (Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Konkani, Odia, Gujarati, and English language. He has won four Filmfare Awards among other accolades. He has also appeared in several successful short films.
